Drag-My-Vision is back! Everyone’s favorite (okay, it is the only one) drag competition for music videos with a Eurovision theme is back at Natlab. You can enjoy some live performances by House of Salvia as well as the world premiere of the music videos of this years’ 12 contestants. Make sure you’re on time and see the drag artists walk the red carpet, where you can take pictures together with them.
Salvia Arts organizes Drag-My-Vision since 2020. At the time, the actual Eurovision Song Contest was cancelled and therefore they created their own dragged up version. Because live performances were not possible, the contestants made a music video at home.
Ever since that first edition, the bar has been raised and high-quality music videos have been entered this year again. Now everyone can enjoy these beautiful music videos on the big screen annually.
This year, 12 countries will be represented by 12 talented drag performers from around the country. Songs famous (or infamous) from the Eurovision annals will be seen performed in original ways after which a professional jury will give their scores and a winner will be crowned. In between the videos, hosts Emily Salvia and Vicky ViQueen will do Q&A-sessions with the contestants where they will be able to explain their process and inspirations.
